Inclusive and adaptive music classes for children developmental ages 12 months to 12 years.
Classes are held in safe, nurturing spaces in schools and at community partner sites on the East End of Long island and Boston. Music educator and education innovator, Marlene Markard, has created engaging curricular units and materials that are differentiated and universally designed to optimize learning, build music literacy, develop social-emotional and cognitive skills, and foster a life-long love of music. Classroom activities are teacher- and student-directed and include: movement, singing, instrument exploration, imaginative play, musical games, rhythm and tonal exercises, solfege, articulation, dynamics, improvisation, and ensemble activities. Methods include: Dalcroze, Kodaly, Orff, Kurwin, Gordon, and Scott.

Private piano lessons are available for students of all ages, levels, backgrounds, and abilities. Lessons are universally designed to optimize learning, develop fluency at the piano, build music literacy, and learn critical like skills such as executive planning and problem solving. Piano lessons include ear training, note and rhythm recognition, sight reading, music theory, and music history components. Students of all levels and abilities are prepared to participate successfully in student piano recitals, music festivals, and competitions.
Piano lessons are offered in-home on the East End of Long Island and the Boston area. They are also available online and at the Berklee Institute for Arts Education and Special Needs (BIAESN) in Boston.
